Hogs Head Stew

It's a recipe for disaster

When eleven-year-old Billy Nottage finds three ghostly ancestors in the family attic, he’s thrilled to find that one of them can help him become a bottle-flipping legend.

But when the Ghost Collector calls, keen to move the ghosts on to the next world, Billy must choose between being a bottle-flipping champion and saving his ghostly relatives.

A story of fun, friendship and finding your own moral compass.

Brilliant book!

Hogs Head Stew well-constructed story. There are clever action scenes and humor, and Billy's character is relatable. By putting three of his ancestors in danger, Billy Nottage displays the moral dilemmas he faces because being the bottle-flipping champion is all that matters to him. When the Ghost Collector finds Billy's relatives, Billy learns how important family and friends are and that working together is important.
Preteens will enjoy reading this book.
